From scan to structural model — inside AutoCAD. Pick a scanned steel or concrete member and the Construct Module measures its dimensions from the point cloud, then builds an accurate 3D solid matched to the right standard section.
- Measured from reality — profile dimensions come straight from the scan, so the model reflects the actual as-built member.
- Matched to standard sections — measured members snap to a built-in catalog of steel sections (HEA, HEB, IPE, UNP and more), plus CHS, RHS/koker, L-angles and reinforced-concrete elements. Extend or adjust the library with your own sections.
- Data-rich solids — every profile carries embedded data (type, dimensions, links) and stays a standard AutoCAD solid — ready for as-built, reverse engineering, SpaceClaim and Navisworks.
- Built to edit — per-profile grips, grip editing, press/pull, extend, anchor and transform.
