Smart Crop & Clipping
Isolate the area you need with flexible cropping tools. Smart Crop lets you define a crop region with visual Z-slice selection to control exactly which height range is visible. Use polygonal crop for irregular shapes, or auto-crop to quickly focus on your area of interest. The clipping box provides a 3D volume selection for precise sectioning through your point cloud data.
Extract Section
Generate 2D linework directly from your point cloud. Position a section plane through the scan, adjust it as needed, and extract lines at the intersection. The result is clean 2D geometry you can use immediately for drawings, measurements, or further modeling — without manual tracing.
Reference Planes & UCS
Create reference planes by picking three points on any surface in the point cloud. Align your UCS to any reference plane with a single click, switch between the last two planes, or reset to World coordinates. Reference planes are placed on a dedicated layer so you can toggle them on and off as needed.
Scan Positions & Visibility
Visualize scanner positions from your RCP file to see exactly where each scan was captured. Toggle point cloud visibility, show or hide crop reference lines, and manage reference plane layers — all from the ribbon. Keep your workspace clean and organized while working with large datasets.
